Smirdex S.A. is an international powerhouse in the field of premium quality abrasives. Through a state-of-the-art production line, cutting-edge research and dedication to customer support, the company has come to be active in more than 82 countries worldwide.
Designing and developing a website for a company like Smirdex requires, in addition to all the obvious, the acquisition of specialised knowledge in the respective field’s technology and equipment. Based on an extensive study of the hundreds of company’s products, but also the of the targeted international market’s characteristics, we proceeded to a completely custom project.
All in one for the content
With the collection, study and processing of all the relative data and the creation of the communication framework, we started the design of the new website. A custom design and development based on Smirdex’s own corporate identity, taking into account the exceptional importance of responsiveness, for easy access to all information by using any possible device and browser. The new website had to be equally informative of the company, its innovative technology and its products.
Personalised web design and development
Through custom design and quality content, the website hosts and features the vast plethora of products but also emphasises in the specific elements of the production and manufacturing processes, which set Smirdex apart from both the local and international competition. All these elements are clear and well-categorised within the dedicated subpages, accessible via a strategically planned navigation map.
Letting the image convey the information
Fulfilling the need of Smirdex’s new website, Artware proceeded with the professional photography of the company’s premises and staff, as well as of the real conditions of their actual use. At the same time, Artware’s studio gathered the whole collection of Smirdex’s products, aiming at the most accurate and professional photographic representation of their special details on the website.
