Ratio Legal Services – Branding
The law firm Ratio Legal Services, with offices in Thessaloniki and Athens, has a new, modern perspective in the integrated provision of specialized Legal Services. The company had entrusted Artware to design, create and deliver its corporate identity, according to its unique quality characteristics. Legal services have their own communication code, based on their corporate philosophy and target audience, which is why the specialized research on the above data led us to the extraction of all of those quality characteristics that constituted the foundation of the corporate identity creative process.
A new branding touch on the term “Ratio”
To choose the appropriate name for this law firm, our research was led to the basic principles of the Law Science, which are well-reflected in the Latin term “Ratio”. Ratio, as a term, describes the logical process of things, through reason and critical thinking. Furthermore, combined with its wider semantic context, the term Ratio fully reflects the new perspective of the law firm in the provision of its services, thus constituting an identical term of reference between its corporate name and the values behind its professional activities.
Designing a logo with a proper “ratio”
In order to design the logo representing the corporate identity of the law firm Ratio Legal Services, we proceeded with the emotional depiction of the purpose and the essence of its services. The primitive depiction of defense and assertion was visually distilled in the combination of the sword and the shield, thus communicating the primary meanings of the company’s professional services.
Inspiring trust via color code
The color code of the corporate identity was chosen based on the data dictated by the communication strategy of the legal services field. The darker shades of blue underline the prestige status of the company, while the golden details reflect the quality status of the legal services provided. Thus, the corporate identity itself, through its design, declares the quality and communicates the value of the company itself.

The corporate identity for Ratio Legal Services law firm was implemented in the design of all printed and digital communication materials, in the design of all the company’s communication applications, as well as in the design and development of its website.
